Shree Brahma explained bhakti yog to Narad muni and assigned the task of disseminating the knowledge:sarvātmanyakhilādhāre iti saṅkalpya varṇaya‘Propagate the science of devotion to the world.’
Thereafter, Narad made a lofty resolve before Bhakti Devi: ‘Kaliyug is the best age to practise devotion. Therefore, I will establish You in every home and in every heart.’ (Bhagavat Mahatmya 2.13)
